Functional area: Sales / Business Development
Reporting to: Global Sales & Marketing Director
Primary Responsibilities:
• To generate new business from international, regional and country customers with a particular focus on the power, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.
• Prepare sales action plans in line with the overall sales strategy to ensure a targeted and focused approach that consistently contributes to the overall growth aims of the business
• Materialize current sales opportunities and identify new ones to meet required revenue targets within defined areas of responsibility
Specific responsibilities
• In conjunction with overall sales strategy, create sales plans to grow the Company’s revenue for designated accounts/region
• Identify, research, plan contact potential clients to establish new business in order to achieve targeted revenue growth
• Support affiliates in their local sales strategy
• Maintain positive relationships with current and potential clients through regular contacts
• Liaise with technical/operations teams to ensure excellent communication channels exist to facilitate the successful handover and execution of the new and current business.
• Assist for invoicing and support for collection as determined by the Business Manager
• Maintain awareness and understanding of all the Company’s services, ensuring that the full range of services are presented to new and existing clients to maximize sales opportunities
• At all times, comply with the Company’s Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct

| Skill Required | • University degree with a technical background and understanding, preferably an Engineer (BSc) or equivalent
• Currently in a sales position with regional responsibility, preferably with a global inspection and testing service provider
• A strong personal network as a basis for generating new business
• Knowledge and understanding of:
- Quality requirements within the industry
- Industrial verification, inspection, certification and testing; QA/QC and supply chain management
- HSE regulations, standards, methods, best practice
- Basic understanding of NDT and testing methods
• Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in a similar service provider and/or industry - With 3 years in a sales management or leadership position - With practical experience of large industrial projects preferably as a project manager
Skills
• Able to coordinate and motivate a regional sales team towards a common goal
• State of the art selling techniques and an ability to translate these skills into tangible results
• Extensive knowledge of the related field (main actors, trends/shifts, competitors, processes, regulatory frameworks)
• Ability to write, appraise and negotiate detailed contracts and commercial agreements
• Ablity to work under own initiative and with a high degree of autonomy
• Knowledge of IT systems, particularly MS Office applications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player
• Ability to listen and identify client needs and requirements
